MARCH 9th Kid Shelleen's Mixer! Come, Join!
Come join us the the first ever Pi Gamma Mu Alumni Mixer at Kid Shelleen's in Wilmington on Friday, March 9. You don't have to be an alum to attend, just come if you are a Wilmington University student who is a Pi Gamma Mu member. Hi Everyone, First let me introduce myself. My name Tom Vance I'm a new member to Pi Gamma Mu. I will be inducted on Friday March 2. I want to let everyone know about my community service. I am a member of the Nam Knights Motorcycle Club which is made up veterans and police officers. We do escorts to returning veterans and do honor guard duty for the fallen. We also help veterans,police officers and their in anyway needed. We also do whats called Mugs and Hugs, this were the family takes the returning soldier out and when they come out of the restaurant there is a flag line made up of veterans. We shake theirs hands and welcome them home. Then give them a escort to their party. They really enjoy see 50 to 100 motorcycles roaring all around them. I also belong to the Viet Nam Veterans of American we help all veterans and their families. There a lot of homeless and troubled veterans out there that need help. We also find the cremains of fallen veterans that have no family and who's ashes have been sitting in a funeral home for years because no one paid the bill or claimed the ashes. We have found ashes that have been in the funeral home for more that fifty years. We pay any fees and then see that the are given a place of honor in our National Cemetery.
